La próxima semana volvemos a viajar a Londres durante unos días. Siempre he dicho que no es una ciudad de mi devoción pese a sus atractivos turísticos (más adelante contaré por qué), pero también es por ello la idea de darle otra oportunidad y ver si por fin nos empezamos a llevar bien.
Sin embargo, algunos lugares me gustaron bastante, como la Abadia de Westminster, la Catedral de Saint Paul o Camden Town.
Nunca estuve en Londres en invierno, siempre fue durante los meses de primavera o verano, donde hay muchísimo turista, pero donde la frecuencia de lluvias es menor. De hecho, siempre que he estado en Londres he podido ver el sol.
Por otra parte, recuerdo alguno de los primeros viajes a la capital de Inglaterra, donde era básicamente turismo lo que hacíamos. Pasando las últimas veces a ser viajes para visitar a amigos que residen allí. Y son cada vez más los que prueban suerte, debido a las condiciones laborales (en ocasiones), a un mercado muy dinámico y sobre todo debido al idioma, que a diferencia de otros como el alemán o el francés, una gran parte de la población conoce.
